This meet, held February 14, 2026, served as one of six sectional sites for the NW District Swim Meet at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) on February 20–21. The top 32 individual swimmers (combined from all sectionals) and top 24 relays will advance to districts.

22 teams competed, including: ADA, BLUF (Bluffton), BWY, CRE, ELLD (Elida), FOS, GAL (Galion), KEN (Kenton), LCC (Lima Central Catholic), LBL (Liberty-Benton), LEX (Lexington), LSH (Lima Shawnee), MCC, MMC, MNST (Minster), MSML, NBR (New Bremen), NRCC, RRI, SHE (Shelby), SMM (St. Marys Memorial), and USA (Upper Sandusky).

Standout individual highlights included:

  • Jackson Bowlus (Bluffton SR) — swept the boys’ 50 Free (22.47) and 100 Back (54.15) while contributing to Bluffton’s strong relay placements.
  • Brynn Bruner (NRCC SR) — won the girls’ 200 IM and anchored NRCC’s dominant relays.
  • Kayla Caldwell (LEX JR) — took gold in both the 200 Free and 500 Free.
  • Elise Oldiges (MNST SR) — claimed victories in the 50 Free and 100 Breast.

These athletes, along with many other top finishers from the sectional, are well-positioned to represent their teams at districts next weekend.
